How much do I need?
- Mixing Guide for 1 kg mix - using a clean pail, fill with 180ml of clean water and then slowly mix while adding 1kg of powder. Stir until an even consistent pasty mix is formed and if required, add further water at 10-20ml increments until the anti-slump consistency is formed.
- For small quantities, e.g. 1Lt or less, mixing can be carried out by hand; for larger quantities mixing is best carried out with an electric stirrer and mixing paddle.
Drying Times:
- Tack free – 15-20 mins
- Dry Compound – 1-2 hours
Sawing, nailing or screwing:
- Areas 0-20mm thick – 2-3 hours
- Areas >20mm thick – min 4-5 hours
- Painting over – 4 hours
- Immersing – 48 hours
